Rev. +OMⲰNV/M૪NTA MAV/POZⲰ MHN [ΜЄ?] / [C]KEΠOIC ('May you protect me, your namesake, Maurozomes') in four lines. Apparently unpublished save for its previous auction appearance. A charming metric seal with an attractive image of St. Nicholas. Good very fine.


The reverse legend must be a 12-syllable verse, a poetic form very beloved on seals by this time. The unclear last letters of the third line likely read 'MЄ', which would be needed to complete the verse.
